Rosemont, IL- A terrible start and sloppy finish sent the New York Dragons to a 20-point loss at the hands of the Chicago Rush in week two of AFL indoor football action.Chicago opened up the game with three straight touchdowns and a 21-point lead before New York knew what hit them.
Rush quarterback Matt D'orazio threw TD passes to three different recievers, Etu Molden, Bobby Sippio and E.J. Burt, with the game barely 10 minutes old. Dragon quarterback Aaron Garcia answered with three straight scoring tosses of his own, two to Mike Horacek and one to Kevin Swayne, and the score was tied at 21.
The teams continued to trade touchdowns until Chicago put two together with an early fourth quarter score. New York answered back with one touchdown but that's all they'd score. The Rush added two more late touchdowns and made the game look like a blowout.
New York falls to 0-2 while Chicago is 2-0.
